hi guys my plants are dying off from the bottom leaves up from what i have read i think its down to lack of (N) but im not sure any ideas?

heres some pics if they help i have had them on 12/12 for 10 days and if sex is visible i think it looks like female what do you think?

hi it looks like female to me and what ive read on here them bottom leaves turning like that means the plants has use all the nutritious and ect. but im still new at all this so other might know better then me it does like great

I have been using Bio Grow 8.0(n) 2.0(phosphorus) 6.0 (potassium)
diluted in as directed 2-4ml per litre and i was using in every watering untill i noticed this happen then i spilt my 2 plants in to seperate pots with more soil and have only used vertiliser once since just to put some nuetriants in to the soil

what kind of soil u usein and did the soil already have nutes in it ?from the picks it looks like the soil is kind of a funny color ,ive had that problem when ive bought the real cheap bags of soil and as soon as i put them in a higher quality soil ive had no problems ,im not sayin this is your problem tho im just wondering

im using top soil from the garden it looks like good quality soil but there does seem to be some white stuff on the top of some of it well in one pot think it could be somit to do with fertiliser but it may be a fungus of some kind

top soil bad! my friend gave me a plant to put in my growroom and promised me it was "good soil", I arrive after work and find $#@$ing flies crawling out of his pot, that was so nasty :[

i realy dont think its the soil though as i live in a pretty rural farming area if they can farm it it must be good enough soil and there is no sign of mites flies etc.

Gnats every where huh get some apple vinegar and put some in a dish that will take care of the flying ones so will a fly strip. for the ones that may be eggs in the soil sand or perlite on top of the soil will keep them in and the others out about 1/8 inch or so should do it. i had these turds a while back and athats how i got them out. ive also noticed that its not jsut out door sol that has it in it some bag soils will to. i never saw one till i had a bit of an over watering issue, then they seemed to just appear over night.

i almost would garentee if u transplant them in some fox farm soil our somethin like that it will fix ur problem ,im just saying this because the samething was happening to my plants and i got the new soil and bam no problems since ,it stinks but when i was just leaving them in that soil they were getting worsre and worse ,then finally i went ahead and paid the 20 bucks for the soil and it was well worth it ,and ive noticed for me it seems like when i get outdoor soil it always makes my plants yellow so i dont use the stuff no more ,but thats about all the advise i can give you and it vcant hert to get the soil no matter what it will only be good for ur plants ...good luck bro i hope u get it under control

sounds like fungas gnats a sticky trap near the soil will catch more than one hung on a sting or something or try a soil drench with safer soap or you could introduce preditor nematodes

Great post. I overwatered in my transplant and I've killed 4 or 5 of these buggers already.

I'd say you got a soil prob there bud. being outdoor soil from the garden, ferts may have already been added to the soil. another prob could be that there is insufficient drainage happening. I bet you if you got a moisture meter and stuck it only a few inches into the soil when you thought it was dry, it is prob still saturated. the yellowing could be a result of "drowning" your plant. it pays itself in tenfold to use a good commercial potting soil which will have ideal growing conditions.

but... who am I to say? ... I don't believe myself half the time

You need something to in your soil to let your roots "breath", like perlite or vermeculite! Looks like you have a bucket of mud there.

i agree with the abbove , get ur self some new soil and ur babys will come right back and youll be smokin in no time ,,because ur plants are fixible right now so id start from the begining ,,and the begining for u would be good soil that uve seen growers on this site use..then u can go from their ,,,but i bet u as long as you are watering with ph balanced water and u get the new soil you wont have no more problems ,o and also if u dont over nute them ,if u go get a good soil witch i belive mj plants deserve id get the soil with no added nutes in the soil that way u can control what u put in the soil ,,good luck bud i hope u work it all out ,i think u got some pretty good advise from the peeps hear ,i cant wait to see your journal with them babys all nice and green
