Hello everyone, I'm new to home growing. Its a good way to save money and avoid getting caught, so I'm dam sure interested. I need a few tips and lots of info along the way. I'm using a flourescent light at the moment, but in the process of purchasing a MH light. Anybody know of a really good book I can purchase? Someone needs to write a book, titled marijuana growing for dummies.

Anything and everything you need to know is right here, all you need to do is choose the correct topic heading to post a question, many on here have great knowledge and most are willing to help you out, even if they have said the same thing 20 times before lmao, the easy way to find specific answers to quick questions is to use the 'search' at the top and simply type a key word, if you cant find your answer, then its time to start a new thread with your question.

Welcome buddy. IMHO, an EXCELLENT book is "MARIJUNA - The Cultivator's Handbook" by Bill Drake. A bit outdated for hydro grow, but PERFECT for newbies interested in soil grow. Helped me TREMENDOUSLY....check out my journal, and keep it green.

If i were you a would either get a MH/HPS light or just a straight up HPS. MH is not good for flowering and thats when you really need the most light.
