You must be living in an area that has great sunshine or your going into spring perhaps. When you plant outdoors, your baby will still love a little bit of attention from you. Watching out for critters that would love to make your darling a snack is good, and so is helping out the soil if need be. You might consider the condition of the soil your going to be planting in, and if you think it needs help then now might be a good time to do something about it. Watch out that you don't treat the soil with heavy chemicals as you would just end up killing your grow. Digging in some potting soil would perhaps be nice.
Remember tell NO one what your doing. Think along the lines of common sense stealth and start reading like crazy in the forums. In the meantime ask away if you get stuck, and yes watering is good, but be certain that this naturally growing weed really needs the watering first. maybe a moisture probe, or the easy way by sticking your finger down into the soil and feeling and seeing if it's moist.
