i had just came from out looking at the lil girls. there was 2 of them that i had notice that the color of the hairs was turning orange. im not sure what that means, if its the strain or is time to pick them. i know you all going to ask about how long the been flowering, but if i had to guess they have been flowering about 3 to 4 weeks. to be truthful these ones im talking about at 1st i had thought was males. over the years i had always been told that a female will have the biggest leaves. (im guessing they meant the fan leaves) at 1st there was 7 plants, the 2 that had the big leaves i put them in a pot. the other 5 (males i thought) i left them in same pot. so i had moved the 5 away from what i had thought was females. for the reasoning i was going to keep them to make hash for hubby but out of no where i started to see these little white hairs, had a friend to look at them he told that these was females not males. bye this time i was scare to seperate them. didnt want to shock them i know that roots was all tringle together if you all can make sence of what i mean PLEASE help

At 3 to 4 weeks some browning of the hairs is common but that doesn't mean your ready to harvest, some do harvest when the hairs are around 80 percent orange. IMO the best way is to get a microscope from radioshack, quite cheap, and look at the trichs for a half amber/ half cloudy. Planting in the same pot is always a big no no, unless your planning on culling males early when the entangled roots won't be as much as a problem. You really need to make sure which are males and which aren't, then cull the males and hash em. I always try to stay away from any form of stress while flowering, because you might slow your yield or could get a hermie. How big are your plants, and how big are your containers? If i was 4 weeks into flower I'd prolly just finish em out in the pots that there in unless is seems like a huge problem, are roots starting to stick out the top of the soil or the bottom?. If u have a male next to a female in the same pot, just cut the male out and leave his roots in there. Gl to you and I hope you have some earlier flowering strains like 7 weeks or so, because then you only have around 3 weeks left. Hope this helps.....

Yeah, take a few nights bouncing around here to learn a bit on what you need to do. Get the basics, and there are all kinds of people in here that love to help people grow.

One thing you have to keep in mind... is that are different ways to do everything. You don't have to take one person's advise over another. But there are basic rules that don't seem to change. Lighting, air, temp, and nutrients play the most important part in a plants life.

Looks like your pots are a bit small... I almost want to say leave them in there, but I think you might see a huge increase in growth if you are careful. But I don't know if the picture makes them look smaller than what they are...

Give some info...

Pot size, soil, lights(what kind/how far away from the plants are they), box?, vents?, temp, humidity, age of plant. Whew... hold on all this thinking I'mma have to hit a pipe... you come up with that and you'll get people giving you tips.

You should be ok to finish them off in those pots, I wouldn't transplant that late into flower. You mentioned something about having mj plants earlier, there not close to your lades 4 weeks into flower are they? Do your homework for your next grow, it won't take much effort on this site, and it will def be worth it. Stay up and lookfoward to your harvest!

hi blunted thank you so much i know now all the things i didnt know before, in all there is six plants and they all are females and like ive said in one of them other threads these were accients ive never grow this before just smoke the hell of it lol but being in this site has open my eyes on how to grow mj im just going to lets these grow they way they are get what i can off them but with in the next few months im going to get all the right stuff i need hell im even thinking about finding me an old refrig to make a green house like ive seen from this site i ask hubby if it could work and if he could help me he said yea so i will let yall know how these turn out and again to this and all the ppl on it thanks for all the help

hi all i found me a tape measure, start with the 4 in this pot #1 is 8 1/2 inches,#2 11 1/2 inches #3 11 inches #4 13 1/2 inches the light is the sun they in 2 lb coffee can been giving them miracle gro food spikes and the soil is 28% to 38% reed sedge peat, sphagnum peat moss, perlite, and washed sand and they are about 3 months old the other 2 are in a bit smaller pot and they are 21 inches tall i do very much understand that these plants are not the way they are surpose to be but with them flowering im to scare to really mess with them for the fear of shocking them

yeah just finish em out there should be good smoke, yeah the first grow always the toughest, smooth sailing the rest way out (well most of the time) just a comment on your soil mix, not to be a dic, I wouldn't use any of the miracle grow line, the soil is too hot. Also I found using peat moss to make my ph too acidic, so test your ph regularly, its underated. I know the the other comments on your thread are worthless, the time people spend typing out ** they could have given you a sound reply, I hope i've helped, gl to you and your harvest, and your next project.
