This is a little pygmy rattler I picked up the other day. He has a button with no rattles yet. No warning with this little guy. He'd pop ya in a second and put a hurtin on ya. They jump around very fast.

Put him in a safe place away from kids n such........

A buddy of mine who is healthy as a horse and 6'5" was tagged by a pygmy on his hand in the middle of no where. Took over an hour to get to medical care because we were long distance hiking. It really sucked for him to journey for a long hike after being bitten. Put a hurting on him for several years after the bite. Don't ever underestimate a pygmy because of their size......

Wow man that little guy is cool. Love the colors on him. Did you purchase him at a pet store or was he a find?

He was a find. I "rescued" him from someone's back yard. They had three little girls that played there. This little beauty is no friend to them!

Found a new home for him in the sticks away from dangerous people.:p He has a right to live too.

The only poisonus snakes around my area are copperheads & the occasional water moccasin around the lakes & some ponds...

Poisonous snakes I kill... The rest I leave be. (or scare the crap out the wife with!:hubba: ) Good varmint hunters!

Rattlesnakes are a bit further south from where I'm at. They don't really get up here.

I love snakes and nonpoisonous ones make great pets!! Baby Rattle snakes are said to have more potent venom that their adult counterparts.. Be Careful!!!!! don't get bitten!!! Ouch!! Hehehe (little laugh) The only phobias I have is fear of Spiders. I kill them on sight.:chuck: (FYI: I see a lot of Wolf Spiders 'round here and theys be big and oogly). I also have mud dubbers around here so It balances itself out.. Just a suggestion: get rid of it, and get a Python instead. I'd hate to see anyone get hurt and just just consider the expense of anti-venom and Emergency room, because they will tax your ***!!:bong2:

eeewwwwrrrrrrraaaaaaa whaaaaa,,, i no that they are harmless unless you provoke them or scare them ,, but for som reason i cant find it in me to like them ,, that is very cool looking snake you got their good job on the find

Hey upinarms - don't worry man. He's long gone far away in a safe place from harm. This would be no pet of mine!

Pythons are great for pets.....

My pet snakes - I catch in the wild. Got a grey and a red rat snake. They are just as calm and easy going as can be. I keep them for a little while, feed them, and turn them loose........

Hey walter. I see what I type confused you - sorry.

The pic of the snake is a pygmy rattlesnake. That is the nasty little buggar.

Was telling upinarms to not worry - my pets are friendlier and non-poisonous.

Didn't mean for confusion.........;) Will edit above post to clarify.

oh ok thanks pot belly for clearing that up,, so are they poisoness from birth on or do they have to reach a certain age or mature befor their poisones?

Man o man! A rattlesnake is mean, nasty, and poisonous at birth. Their venom is very potent while young.

This pygmy rattler is a full grown snake. Pygmies are especially dangerous because their rattles don't really warn, their venom is very potent, and they bite you when you reach down to pick something up.

Yes I have an Ebb and Flow System and am Currently growing indoors. I'm experimenting with a couple of viable commercial beans right now.. as of late they're just sprouts so I haven't taken any pictures. I just sent in an order at Nirvana-shop.com for indoor mix because they said it was a good buy for Noobs and I'm not a heavy smoker. One or two tokes is all it takes for me when the weed is decent, and I try to keep it that way. Here is a few neutral wallpapers. If you use windows, you can get a lot of different walls from wincustomize.com for Free.:D
