It depends entirely on what you're expecting from one hit.

Do you want to get as high as you can possibly be without passing out? Then you'll be disappointed every time. No weed does that, never has, never will.

Do you want to get a good solid buzz going that you can take off the day's stress with, mellow out, and get your mind right? Then yes, lots of strains will do that for you.

The difference between lame weed and world class weed is that you have to smoke an entire fatty of lame crap to do what one hit of world class will do.

That is the meaning of "One Hit Weed". It's a comparison thing, not a "Put you on the floor in a coma thing".

Back in the day, most folks smoked redbud from South America, and ,if you were lucky, you could get some Humbolt herb during the winter.
As Indoor grows became more prominate, and "world class herb" became more readily available, the term "One-hit quitter" became the description of the new "Hydro" herb that folks grew.

I've grown several crops of Aurora. I have several friends who refuse to even smoke it now. They tell me "Stoney, that stuff is so strong I don't even enjoy it". hehe

It is one of the strongest strains I've ever smoked. My next crop will be entirely converted to oil. I can't even imagine how strong the oil will be.

If you grow it, I've found it to be at it's most potent when harvested with 50-50 amber/cloudy trikes.

The stuff will slay you.

I agree about the aurora indica. It is still the most potent strain I have. I have some killer strains with great flavors but the aurora is still my most chill strain. The smell of aurora is excellent and everybody that smells it says how good it smells. It reminds me of the 70's and my first memories of weed. Now after all this talk of it I will have to roll a fat one of it.
