This is a design for a low profile grow closet that i will be building sometime in the near future. It will be two seperate boxes that can be placed side by side or one on top of the other. I will have locking doors on the front and a small box on top for the exhaust filter. Itll have room for 1- 2 mamas that can produce about 16 new clones every 2 weeks a peice. please give me some feedback and tell me what you think.

thats not a powerful enough of a light to strech 4 feet... you would need a 1000 watt hps to cover 4 feet of length... I cant see the other dimension so I dont know how many square feet it is... I can see 4 foot width but whats the length?

The length is also 4'. it is 2 seperate boxes. 2 400 watt lamps will also put out enough light once you figure spacing and for the clones an added CFL would add more light.

The cloning area looks fine, as the clones will appreciate the light falloff on the sides as clones don't need something too harsh right away.

What Midzeye said about the flowering area lighting is dead on though. Thats only enough light for about half the square footage of the area you have. The height of the box, 4 feet, may compound the problem by not being up high enough to produce a good light spread if you aren't very careful about keeping the height of your plants low.

Good design though. Also, about the intake fans. If you are using a good quality fan to exhaust the growbox through carbon filters (you basically NEED a high quality exhaust fan, as simple inline fans and whatnot just dont have enough power to push through carbon filters) you really don't need intake fans, just intake vents. Save your money. Air will rush in through the vents to replace the air pushed out by the exhaust fans. The intake fans would just be redundant.

Also, when growing in such small areas, heat is always an issue. An aircooled reflector is almost a must in such designs, and it looks like with your plan it would be a sinch to add some ducting from the reflector to your exhaust, so not too big of a deal. If you don't though, I can almsot garuntee heat issues.

A 400 watt light will cover an area thats 3ft x 3ft I think thats stretching it IMO 2.5 x 2.5 is the largest area I want to put a 400 w light for flowering... A 1000 watt hps would be the best for that situation but then your talking about an inline fan exhausted out of the room and cool air intake.... Air cooled would be the only option in that box because of the heat the 1000w would give off....

Your design looks nice and very well thought out, your asking before you go waste money and this is all good. Im not sure what your weed consumption is but I have side by side boxes flowering room is 2.5 x 2 x 6ft veg is 2x2x6 I have a 400w hps air cooled in flowering room and 6 32watt cfl 6500k color temp bulbs..

I have been able to keep a supply for myself maybe you should make the boxes smaller... In my veg room I can hold 2 bonzai moms, and a bubble cloner thats 1 ft x 2ft, and my veg I could fit 14 plants but Im choosing to grow 10 plants in DWC..

Dont get me wrong your plans look good, just very expensive to do it the size you want it..
