light from heater?

Will the light from an electric heater effect my plants dark period? When I turn the lights back to 12/12 I am going to have to have another heat source. I dont want to hermie my plants or mess up their budding cycle. Thanks.

I have uesed portable electric heaters on low setting with no probs...

Just put some tape over the "on" indicator light...

I have 2 heaters on in my flower room but they sit beneath the plants(which are up on a low platform) I don't have any trouble with the little bit of red light coming from them.

Thanks for the help. I have read about any interuption in the dark cycle can mess up the budding cycle. Where I am gets extremely cold so I will definately need some help from an electric heater.
