if i get a box big enough to cover my plant and i put like 2 fluoro bulbs in there and cover the whole thing so no light can be seen and then use that for like 2 hours at night? would this benefit at all or would it harm the plant.

I'm totally confused by your post skoomaman and I'm not even stoned right now...

You gotta give info to get info my friend!!!

well its flowering now outside and its bout 4 ft tall. im asking if adding a bit more light at night would help?

are you trying to flower or are you wanting it to be vegging?

12/12 light cycle is best for flowering... what is your current light cycle outside?

well the sun is out for about 12 hours but the plant is only in direct sunlight for about 7 hours of direct sunlight. and im not trying to flower it its already flowering.

Don't mess with mother nature... if you've got 12hrs of light and 12hrs of dark you get a flowering plant. No need to add supplementary light... and if you do, you gotta make sure your still getting 12hrs of dark.

Just sounds like allot of hassle for very little payoff!
