I have heard some people mention that usually the males show their balls before the females pistils emerge..and then theres the factor of and indica/sativa strain acting on the amount of light hours. my question is with my 3 plants..one of them has shown its pistils but is more indica looking(these plants are bagseed) and the other 2 are yet to show so does this mean if they were to be males they would have already shown, or could their more sativa appearance mean there is still possibility of males emerging?

There is always the possibility of males showing on bag seed - even after being totally female for quite some time. Many intersexed plants can erupt with male flowers later in the process and some can have only a couple or none at all. Point is keep a good eye on them throughout - the possibilities are endless

Heaven only knows what the genetics are. As an example, I have four outdoor from my own breed line, third generation, and I can see four distinct phenotypes. For all you know the bag might even have had more than one type of weed in it. As jmans said above, all you can do is:watchplant:
