I went through some stretches of intense pain and Dilaudid was the only thing that could take the pain away and even put a smile on my face. Morphine and oxycontain couldn't touch it, but the big D is some powerful medication. The hydroxine was given to me for sciatic pain. I use it at bedtime rarely but seems to leave me with a hangover feeling in the morning.

Some people call Dilaudid "hillbilly heroin", as it easily breaks down and can be injected

Breakfast was wonderful - I had 4 pancakes topped with butter, Mrs. Buttersworth syrup on two of them, and strawberry jam on the other two. I also had 6 strips of crispy bacon. Not sure why I was so hungry, but it sure did satisfy me. I also had a cup of coffee, which made me nervous and jittery. Think I am going to stick with the hot chocolate from now on

When they carved half of my left lung out in November of '22, they had me on IV morphine every four hours, oxycodone the same, and dilaudid on demand with a lockout every 15 minutes. After the second day, I told them I didn't want the dilaudid 'cause it didn't do anything. Third day I told them to forget the morphine. The Oxy did the trick, but I told 'em to stop it after day four. After they cut me loose on day five, they sent me home with a bottle of 25 oxyies. No withdrawal at all.
They were the only thing that killed my back pain. I took the last one two months ago. Stretched the hell outta 'em, didn't I?
Gotta find me a Dr. Feelgood and get some more. Maybe once a month, the pain gets downright ugly. I live with a pain level of 4. When it spikes up to 8.5, I'm one miserable mofo.
