Good afternoon, Misfits. Working on scraping ice from the van windows. We ended up with about 6 inches of snow, but ice is the main culprit to deal with now. Had to take a break to warm up

We MIGHT have gotten an inch, but it's windy enough that it's probably in Lake Huron by now. Never got above 20, but with the wind, the wind chill was 5 friggin' degrees. Cut right through ya.

Went back out at 4:30 and finished scraping ice from the van windows. Have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday that we can't miss, so it had to be done. Currently 15 degrees, and it dropped down to 2 degrees last night. Dang furnace is getting a workout, for sure. Now back inside warming up

My baby is fixing baked tilapia on a bed of lemon slices. It is really good that way, she fixes salmon the same way. Currently 9 degrees and supposed to drop down to 2 degrees again. Getting ready to go to the garage to smoke a cigarette, glad it is connected to the house!
You fella’s up north are making me cold. I moved some quail around today. From my breeder cages to the aviary. So they would have access to a heat lamp. All my chicken and quail cages are outdoors. With sheet metal roofing on some sides to block the north winds of winter. We don’t get cold enough to worry with indoor coops.
20-25 mph wind and 36 at sunset. Too cold for my southern buttocks.
Fireplace is loaded and good for about four hours. House is 74, my favorite temperature for winter. Catch you folks in the flip side.

The tilapia was great, I had two pieces with steamed rice. Then went to the garage to smoke a cigarette, and now sitting on the couch watching a movie with my baby

Got the munchies, so I fired up the oven and gonna make some steak fries. Only takes about 15-20 minutes for them to get crispy, and got my bottle of ketchup ready to go!

It's 4:20 am, and we are still not asleep yet. Took a bunch of pharma to help us out, so hoping it kicks in soon. Dang insurance doesn't want to cover the main sleeping pill anymore, so gotta ask the doctor for something else that might work half as good
