I work today and then I'm off Tuesday and Wednesday. I get to set down sometime this week or next to talk about my raise. Boss lady told me I get a raise once a year in January.
Can't believe my 1st year anniversary was October 23.
Love this freaking job. 16 days vacation and 17 paid holidays.

Squatch,,,I had my own business for over 25 years until the god.damn b.ullshit Pandemic. Things got to slow so I became a PM for the Government instead of a Contractor.
Got tired of all the fking traveling and happen to run into this position as a Facilities Manager/Engineer, 5 mins from my house
They offered me 80k a year, full coverage insurance paid in full, and a crap load of paid days off. Jumped on it and couldn't be happier. Besides I'm almost 69 years old and drawing SS that they can't fking touch. So I draw my full SS benefits and my Salary. I will never stop working until I can't get out of my fking chair. I like the money and the options.

Never ever, ever in my entire career did I get any of the above. I was supposed to get bereavement pay for losing a close relative, but if you called the union in to enforce it, you lost your job.16 days vacation and 17 paid holidays.
