Hey y’all. Whew, it’s been a long day. Dealing with communication issues between hospice and the pharmacy. Meeting with the hospice nurse and social worker (very kind humans both of them…) and with my momma arguing that she doesn’t need bandages for the bleeding,,,talked her down from that world but don’t know how long that will last. My little brother is here for a week staying with her for a visit. Brought drugs doughnuts and visited for a bit. Now we have Dixie our daughters dog for a few days visit. My poor cats hate it locked in the spare room but it has been a nice distraction for my Maryjane who’s been missing our BB the most of all.

Good morning brothers and sisters!

Another clear hot day, starting at 69F and predicted to reach 101F. 87F in the house this morning when I opened it up and turned on the fans to cool down.

A nice visit with a friend from the east coast who was in Portland for business. A tasty lunch out at the Cadalliac Cafe.

The housekeepers are due this morning, so Miss Layla and I will be headed for Fernhill dog park.

Two more ripe tamaters and more on the way. Tasty bacon and tomato sandwiches last night.

Alas, some of my Train Wreck plants fan leaves are turning yellow. Not for sure what nutrient is lacking, but I fed them more fish fertilizer.

another busy day for me starting with a mammogram at 8:30 then head over to mommas house to go over the “big book” of final wishes and other stuff with my momma and brother.

Setting here in an office they are letting me use at Homeland Security.
A while ago i saw a couple of them walk by my door with a bag of 20 min Quickset. Being an old mud man i have used it many times. I ask them what they were going to mud and that i would help them if they wanted. They just laughed and said we are fixing to make some Kilos of Cocaine. I said okay,, hope you don't charge full price. They both busted out laughing. These guys have been pretty cool with me. One was just telling about two kids they just rescued last night. And these guys can't fking stand ,,you know who.

Good morning SG! We sleep with the bedroom window open and three fans going. Our first-floor bedroom is on the north side of the house and the house thermometer is on the south, so there is some temperature differential between the two.

I have the house down to 81F so far and it is 68F outside.

I have window fans sucking in cool air all night. Got the house down to the mid 60's. I close the house up as soon as it starts to warm up. I can keep the house cool most for the day doing this. Probably have to run the a/c a couple hours today.
