Yet another gorgeous day starting at 56F and predicted to reach 81F.
I received the bids to repaint the outside of one of the duplexes and will be placing the contract today. Low bid was about 2.5 times what it cost last time and the contractor that I used last time was a thousand and change higher than low bid. Both premium contractors, so I'm sure I could find a cheaper vendor, but how can I be assured that the cheaper vendor will still be around should issues arise?

Good mornin boo and all y’all’s too. Gonna be stifling hot today. 100F in the shade like yesterday. Can’t hardly stand to be outside after only 5 minutes. Plan on transplanting a couple plants in the garage which is a bit cooler but then will find something to do inside. Hope everyone is feeling well and has a beautiful Saturday 
I had a Barrett 90, Bullpup bolt action, SN000043 that fired the 50BMG round. I took it to a local gun range as a guest, along with other rifles, which we fired until all but the last person had left and they had stopped shooting. I asked them if it was OK with them if I fired the Barrett, noting that it was loud.
They said it was not only OK, but they looked forward to watching. He left his Marlin 444 lever action on his bench, supported by sandbags and he and my friend stood beside his shooters bench, which was the second over from me, When I cranked off a round, the side blast from the 65% muzzle break blew the guys rifle off his table, which my friend thankfully caught as it pinwheeled down, and before it reached the ground.
A year later, I was considering joining that gun club, as it was closer than the one I typically shot at, but first called to verify that I could shoot my Barret 50BMG there. The guy said emphatically NO, and relayed the greatly improved story of someone shooting a 50BMG rifle at their range and producing so much muzzle blast that it blew rifles out of the gun racks behind the tables.
