my first night in mexico I forgot they drive on the other side of the road than we do...I ran 2 kids selling ice cream out of a push cart clear off the road, never stopped or slowed down or I'd have been one dead ******...

Good morning ya'll! Hugz all around, passing left!

A partially cloudy day starting at 49F and predicted to reach 71F.

An uneventful semiannual checkup and a prescription for PT to address my upper back with the stabbing pain. The inversion table seems to help my lower back some but is not the great panacea.

An empty calendar besides chauffering Grayfox to her PT this afternoon, so seems like a good day to turn the sprinklers on and dig out the heads.

Good morning fine people. Today is gonna be sunny again so that’s always a great start for me.
got the settlement all worked out with the insurance company for my totaled 4Runner. Gonna go look at/buy another one that looks the same but 4 years newer and less mileage on Friday. Will be glad when the whole thing is over. Cost me 15,000 extra from my savings but I guess whatever will be will be at this point.
a guy from a tree trimmer company shows up at the door yesterday asking if we needed any tree trimming while they are in the area working the tornado that we had nearby. I showed him the big assed tree in the driveway. made a deal with him to trim Up the 100 year oaks and all other trees in my yard for 2500.00. I think it was worth it as they are really tall. They finished the driveway tree last night and will work on the other one over my house and the smaller ones in the yard today. They are a Mexican group that are really good workers. They were climbing up that big tree like monkeys.
this is the one they trimmed yesterday so I will feel comfortable parking in my driveway again.
