I'd have moved that down a foot and boxed it in and insulated the walls. Where you live, a simple lightbulb would stop it from freezing in the winter.

It has heat tape with a thermostat on all the piping and then wrapped with that black foam insolation you see.
we are going to put plants around it so it will not show as much. The wires go thru the wall behind the unit and plug in on the inside of my house.
