Thanks Hick, Hemp Goddess and everyone else that tried to help me last night...now then take a look at that 4 leafed thing...lol

Allright I want some oppinions, I've been lst'ing these plants to keep a low profile, but I was thinking about topping, or fiming them, I don't have alot of experience with topping, and none with fim, but was thinking about it. Will it increase yeild? or does it pretty much devide the main cola evenly for the same weight it would had I not topped. My last indoor grow, I did nothing but cut a few of the spindly branches from the bottom, but towards the end I ended up bending and tying to keep the buds out of the lights. I'm really curious to see what this one with the 4 branches at the 4th and 5th node would do if topped. So come on some of you'ns that have been doing this thing since jesus was doing bong hits let me have your oppinions. I have about 4 1/2 feet from the top of my grow bags to the bottom of my reflector.

well my AK47xC99 started showing male pre-flowers I noticed this morning. 4 out of 10 are male, and the 4 leaf at the 4th and 5th node (the freak in the pic) is one of them that is showing male. I think I will seclude one of these to collect pollen from, and top 3 of the females before takeing clones and transplanting into 4 gallon grow bags. I have to veg for a little while longer still because the growth on these has been so slow, my longest shoots for cloning are only a couple inches long. maybe I should top all of them to help push those side shoots a little bit? Since I killed all the Afghani (didn't want to risk the herm traits in with these) I'm only going to have 6 plants in a 4'x4' area, so I can let them get a little bushier. Can I get some more oppinions on topping please? I really don't have alot of indoor experience, will this increase my yeild? or just devide the yeild I would have had into several more buds?

I need oppinions on wether to use the pollen from this, or to use a "normal" males pollen. All oppinions are appriciated. I feel like I'm the only one looking at this post, ya'll take a sec and quit answering newbie questions and post me an oppinion...I've got to decide what male to keep to make some room, 3 have to die...

If you don't have the male at another location you stand a good chance of inpregnating your other plants. 1 male can spread pollen for miles, so think how easy it could pollenate other plants in the same house or building.

Allright I was in my shack tonight and was going to do some lst on my cinderlla 99 x AK47 when I noticed that one of them has 4 leafs at the 4th node. I can't remember ever seeing this. So I want to hear from ya'll how common is this. I should have 4 branches comming from here then also? And what do you think would happen if I topped it here, or fimmed it. It's in its 4th week of veg and they are growing slow, looks like I'm going to veg them at least 6 wks, maybe 8. I know I've seen on this site about the 3 leafed on seedlings ya'll had a funny name for I can't remember, and I think it was hippy in England that said like 90% of those are male, so with my luck this one will probably have sacks. Man I hope not though! So let me hear who has had them like this, oppinions on leaving it alone, topping, fimming etc. I know ya'll want pics, but I still haven't learned how to do it yet. I still don't even have an Avatar yet, my 16 yr old said she was going to help last weekend to try and turn me into a high-tech redneck, but she didn't, too busy with her boyfriend...imagine that!

I have WW that has in approx. 25% of plants the triple leafed node.

Once from this same batch of seeds I had a quadruple leafed node, that was male, but hermied with female pistils forming.

Yes, topping creates branches from each of those nodes.

Increases yield. If male, use for breeding to try to find females with the same characteristics in the next generation.

I know I can achieve the breeding without polinating the other fems, I'm just not sure on what male to use. I understand the risk's but I can isolate him, collect the pollen, and fertalize part of 1 or 2 fems, that I can keep isolted for a few days, spray them down and put them back with the others.

I heard (but don't know if its true) that these tetra phylo things can either be sterile, or through a steril gene. I was Hoping Hippy in England would see this, because I know he could shed some light on the subject.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
