I'll bet the tinfoil hat played a part in it too huh Art...? :D

Seen the price of Heroin lately?

Hardest part about quitting smoking is actually wanting to do it; if you don't you won't.

Quit a 40 per day habit a few years back.

I want to quit everyday too. That's why I buy only one pack at a time, instead of a carton. It would save lots of money, but of course, I'm quitting tomorrow anyway.

I decided to stop cigarettes today. I havent had any nicotine at all. I feel fine. I'm smoking pure bud tho, through a pipe. Although I was feeling a little agitated earlier...

I know people say it's a lot less dangerous to smoke pure, but it must still be far worse than not smoking... right? I'm gonna have to look into eatin it I guess.

Any of you had any experiences on vaporisers?

I hope that when I beat the nicotine addiction, I can lay off the herb for a day or so without feelin odd.

Currently, I gotta have something every day or I feel empty.... y'know?

Good luck. I once quit for eight years. I had motivation then that I don't have now. You can do it if you really want to. The first 3 days are by far, the hardest. After a week, you'll feel as though you have it beaten. But never have another one again! That one cigarette will start the whole thing over again.

I hve a vape and love it...but I do sometimes miss and go back to my bong....

I wish ciggs were never invented...my poor bro is addicted.

I quit smoking (cigarettes that is) in April 2003. I had smoked for about 36 years. It is by far the best thing I have every done for myself in my life. Hang in there. It is worth it.

I had a dugout with a cigarette bat. When I felt a real craving for a cigarette, it did a world of good for me to just take out that one hitter and take a short toke and hang on to it for a minute like a cigarette.

I had a 2 pk a day habbit for nearly 10 yrs. I quit when I was preg with my 1st kid. I didn't completely go cold turkey, but how I did it worked for me. Besides, I had a real good incentive.

I allowed myself just 5 cigs a day. I could light, and relight the same cigs til they were gone. Have you ever tasted a cig after it's been smoked, put out and smoked once again? Nasty as hell. It only took about 3 days of that to go to 1 cig a day, then a week or less later, I was completely done. Been smoke-free for 12 yrs.

It's funny, my dearest friend is a smoker still. When she and I get real drunk/high, I sometimes bum a cig or 2 off of her. Those nights it never fails that I end up puking at some point. :p It keeps me from not ever wanting to put those nasty things to my lips again..lol. :p

I quite smoking ciggs at the very beginning of this year. Have not slipped up once. I did not use any supplements. I did have cravings. I also started drinking a little more for a while (which gave me more cravings).

2 yrs for me dont miss them one bit. smoked 15 yrs was doin 2 packs a day last 8 yrs

Ive never even tried a cigarette ..... after smelling those nasty things, I knew I didnt want to taste one !

You just didn't give it a good go, Chris... I'll bet your parents didn't smoke, huh? Tobacco/cigs are like most vile substances... Keep forcing it into your body and sooner or later your body relents and sez... "Hmmm... I think I LIKE that poison, give me MORE!"

If you do yourself the favor of quitting, leave it alone FOREVER. It's my nemesis... Tobacco is pure evil. I smoked from the time I was a teen til I was 26... quit for 17 years and one night when I was (yup) drinking... I made the mistake of 'trying' a cigarette... BIG mistake... within a month I was right back where I started. It's the classic addiction: One is too many and a thousand isn't enough...

So... I once again smoked copious amounts of marijuana to help me quit... Want a cigarette? Smoke a joint! Still want a cigarette? Smoke another joint and eat something... STILL want a cigarette? Smoke ANOTHER joint... etc... and eventually the addictive impulses fade and it's progressively longer since the last time you thought of a cig...

THIS time... I'm DONE!:hubba:

Peace!

My dad smoked, and chewed snuff every since I can remember ..... I chewed for about 17 years or so, but never did have an urge for those cancer sticks ! Props on quiting again Dirty, keep it up man
