hey guy's,
im new to growing and i was just wanting to check up on some things i read so far.i havent started growing my plant yet and wanna make sure i do it right the first time.so far i was planning on getting a 1foot by 1foot plant holder from the store,as well as a 1foot fluro light.then make a small cubical approx 3ft by 3ft made from aluminum foil with a small fan attached for ventilation.i also planned on giving the plant 14-16hours of light a day and 1 hour of light during the night as well as watering it 3 times a day every 5 hours with a light mist spray bottle.PLEASE PLEASE help me because i dont think thats all i need to know and it would be greatly appreciated:bong:

3x3 isnt very big unless your just growing the one plant? And how tall is your grow room? Youll need at least 1 - 1 1/2 feet for the bucket, then 3-4 feet for plant and another foot for the light. And instead of the 1 fluro i would buy a few 200w CFL light, they are pretty cheap. iv found them for as low as like $50. But if you could i would buy an HPS light. You can also get one for around $120 Screw alum foil, it can cause hot spots and/or a fire. Buy some mylar, its cheap and 100x better. youll need 2 fans for ventilation. One around the bottom blowing cool air in, and one at the top blowing hot air out. also maby another fan to blow on the plant and move air around it.

16 hours of light isnt enough. When the plant is in veg stage, it needs 18-24 hours of light a day and 6-0 hours of dark. Flowering stage the plant needs to be switched to a 12 on/12 off cycle. REMEMBER: Do not disturbe the light schedual in any stage. Dont turn on the light when its off, dont turn it off when it should be on. Get a timer!

No it is not, Mylar, panda film or plain white paint are the best
