Hay guys I'm starting a new hydro setup soon , I have only done soil and never this , can I us a clone that was a soil clone and transfer it to the Hydro ...

I guess there are several ways of doing hydro...I tried DWC and had trouble immediately...Never could figure out what I was doing wrong...I switched to a feed, drain and recycle in coco chips and it worked...it’s still hydro but it works for me...I usually feed and drain 3 times per day...I use a very simple feeding setup...A dry nute called MegaCrop and nothing else...mixed according to bag instructions or maybe a little stronger toward flowering and I’ve never burned a plant...may not work for everybody but it works for me...the ph of my water is pretty neutral and after adding nutes it’s right around 6...

Do you have a drain table set up with collector to recycle the feed water, or are you shop vacuuming it andreusing?
I ran coco/pelite but only water once a day, but had my ppms start to build and ph swings
I was hearing multiple feeds kept the coco moist and avoided this,
I still have yet to try it again

I just have a reservoir under my grow cabinet...a large aluminum pan with a rack over that the cloth pots sit on...I pump the nutes to each plant into a ring that circles the plant...they drain out the bottom and collected and back into res via gravity...
The problem with my last grow is the humidity stays too high so I need to design faster drainage back to the res and isolate the res from the cabinet...I have a remodel scheduked before I start my next grow...just waiting some sunshine so I can do it...I don’t see much issue with ph change and the nute solution seems to evaporate so that I give a new batch every week or so...I was checking ph and ppm’s all the time at first but it seemed to work so now I just leave it alone and do it...

Cool thanks , im looking into a bloom box from BC Northern lights so everything is on timers and such ..just dont know if I want a component that size ..but I am definitely going the hydo way this time . thank you all for the input
