How does your other half feel about growing?

I was wondering this the other day when I say a thread about a guy growing in the same house as his wife but it's all secret. So I wanted to ask MP the question.

Does your other half know what's up or is it all under lock?

I don't think I could enjoy it if I had to hide it That much.

She knows, and loves that I'm able to medicate. She doesn't partake but truly understands the medicinal properties!

I had to be secretive until about ten years ago, then she just sorta changed her position, and has been supportive ever since, she just does not want me to go hog wild and have a bunch of plants growing, as where I'm located that's frowned upon.....severely. After we get ourselves outa this pickle, I'm either going to goto a 600 watt HID or LED's, would love to be able to switch to LED's but one step at a time, she sorta gave me the stink eye about the new res and air pump and stones, be a few months till I will even consider getting into new lighting. But overall she is happy I'm not supporting the cartels anymore

Stank, i am glad you asked because i love this story. When mr rb and i were discussing marriage, me at the ripe old age of 19, I told him he could never try and tell me to not smoke pot. He made me promise i wouldn't turn into a person we knew. We both kept our promises. Pretty enlightened of me in 1972, I would say. As for growing, i couldn't physically do it with out him I don't think. I could now, but couldn't have set everything up. He is a huge help to me. I am a lucky girl. How could you hide a grow in your own house?

My better half better be okay with me growing because I couldnt afford to keep her in smoke if she wasnt. Jmo but if your growing behind someones back in a home that is theirs as well as yours! Thats just not cool, you are possibly jeopardizing them without them knowing. Again jmo.

I do not have an "another half" now. But I lived with someone for about 10 years and we grew together until about 2004. I just loved it. It was fun to share it with someone. We used to wait until late to trim to make sure we didn't get unexpected company and then have all night marathon trimming sessions. Not a huge grow, a veg space with a 400W MH and a 1000W flowering space. he was one of the best cloners I ever saw. Honest, he could take a cutting, stick it in dirt and have virtually 100% success.

I have always been honest about my smoking habit with anyone that I got close to. However I have seen several instances where a couple broke up and the other half ratted the one who grew out. So, growing stays secret with me.

:rofl: I know this exactly! My wife still says she remembers when she moved from chicago to california, she swears the weed here is laced with something hahaha Smoking brickweed that gave you headaches and bloodshot eyes, to good herb is night and day

Maybe you could make her up a tincture to smoke in an e-cig. One of my friends mother, who is in her 80s, cannot smoke either, but likes the tincture. Glycerine will only absorb so much of the cannabinoids, so it makes it a lot milder. The e-cig liquids are generally made from a mixture of VG and PG and you could either make your own unflavored or get a flavored, zero nicotine e-juice and add cannabis or kief and strain. The cartridge seems to last a long time.

we tried a joint rolled from stuff I took a big hit off with a low-heat vape.
IE THC-lite weed.
She seemed ok with a few hits off that. I offer once or twice a week to do that again but for the past month+ its been "no thank you".

if/when she wants to try again we will but for now its +10mg more prozak (I think) and her nightly glass or two of wine-spritzer
