how dangerous is mold????

i am from the east coast.we all are having mold issues. it seems to attack the biggest buds.have been sadly trimming after waiting so long,and been forced to harvest 2 weeks early.i was trimming a healthy looking fatty,was just finished and happened to notice some tan colored dust on the base of the bud.i hated to do it but eventually cut it in half. it was full of mold!!! i am very concerned of other buds with hidden mold and some one sucking it down,either unknowningly or not knowing better.this could happen with everyone having mold.... does anyone have any thoughts on this ??how dangerous is mold???what should i do? thank u HEMP GODDESS for your great info on last question MOLD ON BUDS.

also would add there are many small buds that are questionable.they are near the brown hairs and not 100% sure its not a touch of mold.probably ok.i hope
