So, I just found out that the Tap Water at my crib is actually GOOD for my babies, seeing that high Alkaline (hard) water contains some micro-nutes essential for healthy grows. Good info to have. I've been "PH correcting" the water that i feed to a neutral state. Come to find out the "correcting" has been killing or taking away those micro-nutes that I'm after.

If your water is not too high in dissolved solids, yes, your plants can benefit from the nutrients in the tap water. However, too high in dissolved solids is not good.

PHing your water does not actually take away any nutrients. However, if your pH is out of whack it makes the nutrients unavailable to the plants. You do not want a neutral pH when growing--you want your water on the acidic side to insure uptake of all nutrients. Here is a link to a chart that shows nutrient uptake at different pH levels. http://www.marijuanapassion.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1833&d=1141100090

Oh ok, good looking out, goddess :) I'll keep that in mind. I'm just trying to keep the process as simple as possible without over thinking it lol. Thanks again!!
