Hello everyone im new to all of this i have grown before in my backyard but never really got into the science of things just had some crappy buds that got you high but you had to smoke 2 or 3 joints to get you there.... I currently stareted a setup and have 4 plants growing the stems are prolly 5 or 6 inches long and going into week 2 and they are just now starting to branch off from the orig 4 leaves is there anything im doing wrong? im using a LED light and have a small fan to help with the stems strength i am going to buy some new lights and some mylar just wondering what would be the best lights to use for cheap and how much does mylar usually cost? my bathroom is like 4 by 6 so its just right i think for grow room hot water tank is in there so it keeps it warm, just wondering how long will it take before i should start flowing? any advice would be great i am short on money but will find away to get it so let me know if there is anything i have to get that is a MUST for a healthy plant. thank you

led's are good but prob not enough watts unless you are using a ufo, or a panel. I'm currently using cfl's and am happy with the progress. Most use m/h or hps with fantastic results. Mylar is cheap and as hamster said lights are not, you can go with the alternatives, cfls etc., but you might end up buying a few extras that will be used. A little more info would help soil, nutrients, plant strain, pics, etc. in help diagnosing your probs. Gl and green thoughts be with ya!
