hey all just saying whats up, and hope to see all of you in the discussions! ill be posting my first grow pics soon so check them out! Peace and love.

Welcome to MP... Read the sit e rules..lol . Whats you plan on growing or are growing... Lots of info hear just read & read or ask questions we like to help.

i have been reading and reading about growing for the last month, i bought a 1000w hps, however i planted my 5 white widows while still learning and put them all in the same pot, all germinated, and are about 6 weeks old, i believe 4 of the 5 are females due to the white hairs i hear so much about, however i have had the lights on a 20/4 cycle their whole lives, is it possible for those hairs to pop out without forcing flowering? I bought some cloning gear and plan on moving to hydroponics with the clones.(forgot to mention i am growing with soil). i believe my plants are suffering from overwatering at the moment, as they are drooping..also a few of the lower leaves were turning yellow and dying so i checked the N just to make sure there wasnt a deficiency, and just as i thought there wasnt one. i think i overwatered with a little too much fertilizer for its first dose, and thats why it is happening.(the last watering that im talking about was 4 days ago). Another mistake i made was not putting holes in the bottom of the medium...stupid i know, and now that i know whats going on i think it may be too late to transplant them without killing them. So i was thinking maybe let them grow enough to get clones out of them, then start flowering and hope they make it til the end? or i could poke holes on the bottom and try to get as much soil out of there as i can i put fresh soil in? haha im sorry its so much but im glad to finally be on here, and i would love any input! thank you. (ill be posting pics later since i cant take pics with my light on!)

hey guys as you see i just posted pics of my current grow, as i said this is my first, and if you notice the leaves are dying from the bottom up, but the tops have great growth...i just dont understand..i really hope they stop dying before they get any higher..just need my plants to make it a little longer so i can clone... Last night i FIM'd the middle plant in the 3rd pic, just to see what would happen..i really hope my plants stop drooping...THEY WERE SO PERKY 5 days ogo..:(

how far away is your light? it looks like they are stretching pretty bad. as for transplanting it looks like they are all in one container so it would be tuff on them if you tried to transplant now. as for drain holes just drill some holes in the bottom of what ever they're in they should be fine.jmo good luck

i don't mean that you won't have problems from them being all in 1 pot, i just mean that the holes you drill will work for drain holes. just wanna clearify that.

Dang those are small pics, but it looks like its coming along nicely mang :> -- but since they are all in 1 container, they will try and kill each other if they arent already. -- you must transplant, it is very possible, use gentle water and wash away as much of the soil as you can, expose the roots.. the less roots you break, the less stress on the plants, you need to get them each in there own individual containers , ASAP .. just dont want you to lose your plants man, ive seen it too many times now.

thank you so much for that last post, it has really been on my mind a lot..i know they are killing themselves the leaves are dying higher and higher everyday, i guess i was just really hoping for clones before i had to do anything major. But as a first timer i will have to learn from this, and hope they make it. I will go to home depot today and buy items for transplant. is there and solutions i can get to help them with the shock? we have a local hydroponics shop that may have something?

Best off using straight water, no additives (accept for super thrive maybe?) -- let us know when you get them transplanted with some pics, i bet they'll get super green again in no time :watchplant:

hey i just transplanted...should i leave on the hps? or just leave on the closet light and keep the door shut? the roots were really really tangled guys :( so sad...i lost my best plant...so i cut it and cut off fan leaves and stuck it in a pot..i highly doubt it will live, but whatever its still a shot, what else will i do with the empty pot. wish me luck guys...anything i can be doing at this point? i will post more pics tonight, i think my girl took the camera today...

nice plants, when they come out of the over watering and\or fertalizing soup that soil up real good and transplant them babies like Akirahz said into seperate containers with good drainage and they should take right back off in about a week or so. it looks like they are stretching try lowering your light and some mylar this will keep them from stretching as bad and good luck with the clones, looking to see the updated pics:D

i was writing this as you posted your last one, sry to here about the loss, you kow not to do it again:hitchair: lol
any way the others should come out of it fine :)

hey thanks man i really appreciate it..keep in touch...how long do you think until they relax and start growing again?

huh ya look like ya have lights up too high for the plants?? im high but that light and the lid is too high dude ya know? I can see the necks of your stems stretch too much like leggy plants other than that goodluck

Hey guys whats up!! so like i said i transplanted, and it didnt go so well, i lost my best plant, and of course the only plant that i dont know as a female is now the only one really doing great...very frustrating haha but check the pics and tell me what you think..i had the hps on for like 4 hours last night..they didnt seem to like it at allll so i just shut it off...

Sorry to hear about your plant. Looking ggod keep it up.

hey guys..so i turned back on the hps just now, going to see if they like it yet..im still experiencing yellowing of the lower leaves, i hope it stops soon or im not going to have any left. They are perking up though a lot actually, all are standing straight up. UPDATE- so i had to turn off the hps again after about 45 min because the plants just start to fall over and droop, but now they are all standing tall again with the light off and are starting to perk back up..scary not knowing what im doing...
