HELP! Stunzeed is in need an "O.G." growers knowledge.

Hey there all. I know I have made myself majorly scarce but I am almost ready to start sharing with everyone again. As soon as I fix this......



I just built a sealed growroom. It is about 18 feet long by 8 feet wide with 8 foot ceilings. I will have 8 600 watt HPS's in there hanging canadian style ay. For those not framiliar with what I mean by canuck style they hang vertically from the cord/socket. I like this because they do not cause much more heat then a vented hood. I thought that the vented hoods would be alot better but the metal hoods act as a heater. I am getting ready to buy an air conditioner and I was wondering how to determain how many BTU's to go with. Thanks to all in advance. I appreciate it.

I can't remember where I read this but it said that u need 3500 btu's of cooling for every 1000 watt light. So my "guess" is u could probably get away with a 2 ton a/c, but a 3 ton would probably be better. Hope this helps.

So u are running a closed environment then? That is my plan for the future. I would like to know how u set your room up if u don't mind me asking. You must have watched Urban Grower?
