help me quick question. closet paint!!!

ok tomorrow im going to home depot to buy the wood to start building my closet grow box and i know ive heard of a clear coat paint u could put on the wood to keep mold etc. away. but i dont know exactly what its called. if you know the name of the product im referring to and or know of something that achieves the same purpose plz let me know thank you

primer. kilz has a good anti fungus/mold primer and its like 5 a gallon at hemp depot

yeah "kiltz" but I think its a little more then 5 a gallon..

What about elastomeric roof coating paint? I have used this in my "box". It seems to be more reflective than flat white paint and it is also mildew/algae resistant and also protects against moisture (as so I remember, I cannot find my "resource" stating the reflectivity is more than flat white). If you want to utilize reflectivity from this certain paint application, then I might possibly look into elastomeric roof coating. I bought some at Lowes & Ace Hardware for around $20 and the brand was Kool Seal (premium white elastomeric roof coating). Just throwing out another option.

I have heard of this..its called "snow roof" here. I know it reflex uv rays from sun...good call weezy...

kliz is the best choice, please check for "baby" kind of kliz
if ya usin other kind of seal and clear coast thing, it has chemical ya dont want plants to breath it it takes years to have these fume comiing out

thanks guys i ended up buying kilz odorless interior oil-base primer. its white pigmented. and it blocks smoke and water stains and seals odors! i havent applied it yet but if it does seal odors it would be great for any stealth grow like mine. im not worried about the reflectivity as im just usuing the primer to protect against mold. and im going to cover my walls with mylar anyway. just tryn to protect my babies! and also is this primer safe to use in an enclosed box with the plants or would it hurt them in anyway shape or form? thank you
