hi,

bought some seeds form Dr Greenthumb, soaked them in Hyro Thrive Dutch Formula (as per the instructions). Took Peat pucks soaked in boiled water. let them cool. Placed one seed per puck, they've been sitting cover on top of the fridge for 6 days.

nothing.

any thoughts?

thanks

Dont worry.

How long did you soak them? I soaked mine 3 or 4 days before they even broke and showed a little tiny root, then another 10 days before a sprout appeared. Just keep them warm and moist and be patient--they know what to do.

have you had a poke about to see if there is any sign of life ?
some seeds can take upto a week or more to show

i personally do the paper towel method with nothing but plain old water ,,,that way you can see at a glance which seeds have germed :peace:

yep - stuck a finger in, the seed looks the same as it did in the package.

Warm, warm, warm.....put a nice thick towel on top of a heating pad on the lowest setting and set em on top of it...you said they were covered? is there any humidity inside your cover?

yep covered - tons of humidity, covered with a black towel.
sitting on top of the fridge - lots of heat coming from the fridge.

the soil isnt to dry is it ?

ok if they have not cracked ,,,gently remove them and drop into a glass of tepid water ,,,,,if after 24 hrs they have sunk to the bottom they are viable ,,if they havnt gently give a push and leave for another 24 hrs ..if they are still floating imo they are worthless ,,,and would start again with new seeds ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

sativa usually takes longer to germ then indica
what do u have

u should try the paper towel method germ but instead of wetting with ro water
or any distilled use carbonated water and a little tea spoon of honey
mix in spay bottle then spray the paper towels(with seeds in them)
put seed in cereal box and keep on top of fridge
for 48 hours high germ rate
works for me

So what was the outcome?...did you ever get them to germ?:watchplant:
