Theres a modification that can be done to block the use of "PROXIES" by placing a simple peice of code in your .htaccess file on this websites server.

mod_rewrite needs to be installed on the server for this to work.

It wont block the pros but i'd say it'll stop that 3 yr old.

There are also vBulletin modifications that block the use of proxies (proxie is a route through another system serving http, usually on port 80, 8080, 3128 and various others)

Thanks Akiraz, but we have desirable members here that use proxy connections, too. MP wouldn't want to ban them. I'm not sure if there's a work around for that.. but I'm sure MarP' will appreciate the suggestion.
The problem with banning ip's/domaiins, is it might lock out some of our desirable members, too.
There are other avenues that could be persued, but it would only mean that we allowed him to drag us down to his level.
We really appreciate the support and patience of the members, while we are going through this little "turmoil".
It is a personal issue that he has against me, personally. He plagues the board with it, because I have chosen to ignore his childish behavior in pm.
I'm sure that it would please him greatly, if we allowed it to disrupt the forum. so what I would like to ask, is for everyone to just ignore is flames and rants. If you see one, just click the "bad post" report icon and we'll get it deleted ASAP. If he isn't getting his satisfaction by disruption, he'll bore himself and go away..
