Hi everyone! As my name suggests, I'm from the tropics. 
I imagine that the marijuana culture in my country might be somewhat different from those in other countries. Here, weed is very accessible, especially in the highlands where farms are known to cultivate hectares of marijuana.
I was introduced to marijuana when I was sixteen but it wasn't until I was twenty-two when I started to appreciate its effects.
Just recently, I became curious about growing marijuana. The interest grew in me after I read magazines about different marijuana strains. This is another thing that might be different about the marijuana culture that I was introduced to. I was illiterate about such things. Although I've read about it and have heard about it and have smoked at least one strange bud (it had tiny purple hairs), marijuana to me is just marijuana.
I hope to learn a lot of things from this forum.
(I am currently germinating a few seeds in a pot.)
