Just want to introduce my self and say hello to everyone!

Im old school, I guess. Im used to pipes, bongs (remember when you needed a screen and you just got them off your faucet?), and smokin joints. However, there are so many new ways to toke, that Im at a loss and thats how I found this forum

I have to ask, what is a "five finger lid"?

The screens I've done. My family had a conveinience store back in the day, I always had the papers. Bible pages, :rofl:

5 finger lid :rofl:.. a term that used to refer to a bag of weed. a sam'wich baggie that was full, or measured as full as your hand is wide.. i.e. "5 fingers"

I remember measuring bags by fingers, now it's all digital scales weighed out to the decimal(makes me really glad I grow my own)but we always called an ounce a lid.

Where I grew up, we typically got it still on the stalk, about 5-7 inches of spiral bud. We called them "Spear Heads". We had to do the curing, just hung them in the rafters of the garage. Crude but it did the trick.

Hick got it! I knew there were some of you out there that knews this term. Probably those who know this term best were born when looney tunes were on saturday mornings and the Banana Splits were more then just a desert!

Yup, Smurfs aired Sept 1, '81.

I can only imagine when the Tunes aired. Google makes reference to 1960 but notes there were black and white show airing before that.

Cartoons are the foundation on which we all become engulfed with pleasure and...who am I kidding they give us pleasure because we don't have to think much! Original Scooby Doo, not the new s#$t, I mean the one with celeberty voices such as Don Knotts, the stooges, and more. There I go showing my age again!
