Veg tent is looking good. The chimera plant is catching up after some abuse. I have a spider farmer g8600 on the way. I plan on taking out the extension on the mars 1k and removing the little sp250 lights out of the flower tent . I will prob run both at 75 to 80 percent power so about 1500 watts of light for the 8x4.View attachment 325924

Currently my co2 is at 800 to 900 ppm according to the meter I had borrowed. I do plan on running the lights 18 inches off and dimming the the light down

Cleaned up veg tent a bit. Chopped the top 4 inches or so on the tallest plants. Fimmed the smaller ones. I still have 4 or 5 weeks before the flower tent is clear.

Put in the diy auto drip system. Basically a 20 gallon tote, sub pump, 3 rain bird 4 nozzle bubblers, 12 5 gal/hr drippers w stakes. I have the timer on 5 minutes every 4 hours. It took a little messing around to get all the drippers to activate but it looks like it's working now.

Some nice looking plants...smells like fruity funky floral. I'm enjoying this grow. The frost in here is off the charts and the buds are forming up nicely. Some phenos like 9, 6, 3 have egg shaped buds popping off everywhere. Others like 7 and 10 have that long spear shaped structure that reminds me of old school thai sticks.

Nice I have a mixed nuts that's supposed smell like that but all I get is earthy

Day 30
Ec is 2.8 so ppm is roughly 1400.
I defoliated and put in some stakes to keep up any floppy branches I didn't need to kill any branches just leaf. The hella jellies are not very leafy at all but man crack, trop, and mixed nuts needed heavy stripping. Only 4 plants needed staked and those were all on the outside of the tent so they don't get any swaying motion making them a bit weaker than the ones close to the fan. Humidity dropped 5 points and for the first time in flower has been under 60 percent.
My new light comes today so I will install tomorrow or Monday. I need to move 2 plants around when the other light comes. That way I will separate them by height. Some plants just got taller.
I'm 75 percent zeroed in on my pheno hunt which is number 9. The terps is Pina colada/cotton candy and the structure is bushy and full of trichome covered egg shaped buds. This one plant I believe will be about 6 to 8 oz dry.
25 percent is # 10. Squat and thick. Same terps but has long spiral buds. Maybe 4 oz on that plant. So number 9 has always been faster and bigger which no doubt will yield better than 10. But there is just something about 10.

Day 36.
Ec 3.1. temp 80/69f. Humidity 62/56. Co2 has been 800 to 900. Had to give back the meter, so now it's prob the same.
Spiderfarmer light is installed. The mars light was condensed to its 4x4 mode. Both are at 75 percent about 18 inches max and 3inches min from the plants. I took out the two sp250s. I can't even open my tent without sunglasses now....wowsers. g8600 is a beast. I'm not really going to arrange by height this time because I want to see what happens at those distances.
Frost everywhere and the inside of the tent smells like a candy store with no air-conditioning in the summer. My kids left cotton candy inside my truck one summer....tent smells like that.
Very nice development up to week 5 so far. These last 3 weeks are the bulking up phase, should be fun.

Day 39
Most of the work is in the veg tent. Cut about 12 inches of growth off of every plant. Had to make room, they won't be going to flower for 3 or 4 week. Let it go too long obviously.
Flowers are swelling and some are getting purple flecks throughout the buds. So much frost.
