I have 4 Nirvana Northern Light plants growing 2 are 12 days old and the other 2 are only 5 days old. For now they are vegging under 2 CFLs and the temperature is kept around 70. I have not started to use any nutrients but i am using the miracle grow soil with 3 months of nutrients in it which i know is not a good choice of soil. But my plants are starting to show problems. The leaves are gettin yellow and brown spots and some of the leave edges are curling uppwards. Is this nute burn from just the nutrients in the soil? If anyone could tell me what the problem is and explain how to fix it thatd be great

brown spots like that can also indicate bugs or microscopic spidermites. Thats the usual symptoms of a plant with spider mites present. I would inspect your plants with a magnifying glass to see if there is any little critters or webs under your leaves. The upward curling has nothing to do with it, some strains have it in their genes, its when they curl down is when its a problem. another thing you might consider checking is your quality of water, is it at good standing? check it.

i just checked the leaves with a magnifying glass and i couldnt notice any bugs or webs on top or underneath my plants leaves. Only 2 of the four plants show alot of these brownishspots with yellow or light green around them. But one other just shows maybe one spot. The other plant looks fine. It also isnt even affecting all the leaves just a few and the plants are still groing fine. I wouldnt narrow it down to this not being possible bec it very easily coculd be the reason but does anyone else have any input.

this could all be legit but,nut burn is very possible with miricle grow soil the nuts are just to high , next time maybe try fox farm?
