It looks like this first venture into Royal Queen Seeds crap fufu weed has been a failure. Complete and total genetic failure. Euro and Calitrash at there best. Screwing up weed with pride since the late 1970's.

Here are the RQS Mimosa autos at 5 days old. Look like two day old plants. No matter what they are runts at best and not worth growing out. Complete failure. If I had a hand in this failure I'd take it and own it. All they had in them was some stretch. And in reality it's not bad at all for lights being 54" above soil level at 170 to 180 ppfd. The left plant was so useless and weak I had to pop the seed husk off it to give it a chance. Nothing wrong with the soil, lights, environment, water,,,, all good. Just crap modern fufu hybrid genetics.

Sorry for the bad pics. But they good enough to show there crap.

RQS Blue Gelato photo. First seed cracked and died. Turned black inside and died.

Second Blue Gelato seed popped and put a tap root out. Went in the dirt then tried to grow straight down and even shed the seed husk trying to grow to china. You can't make this retard stuff up.

Third Blue Gelato floated 24 hrs then went into a paper towel and baggie. Kept at 80F in the dark. Three days in the paper towel and a black dead seed.

I have some Fast Bud seeds coming in tomorrow. I will try them next week. But this exercise is over. Wish I could bill these **** for brains breeders for my time and effort. I bet there products would be much better if they were held to acct.

Lets see how this goes. Got some FastBud seeds in. Have two Orange President auto's and one Papaya Sherbet photo. Both sativa dominant hybrid fufu. In paper towels, bottled water and baggie, 80F in the dark. Been in the baggie 18 hrs now. Can't get any more basic, simple and straight forward. Basic pop 101.

I would have added some H202 to the water fir the beans. It will kill most pathogens.

I guess hydrogen peroxide is a good thing now days? Wonder how all those seeds made it in the old days when we popped them in mud puddle or ditch water out in the field with our clandestine grows? It never dawned on us we needed to deal with pathogens.

The Orange President autos have not popped yet. I would have bet they would already been in the dirt. But the Papaya Sherbet photo has popped and is in the dirt. Made a wet spot and hole for the popped Papaya Sherbet. Treated with some Great White Mycorrhizae, dropped her in and covered up. Environment and soil temp is good. She is in her 15 gal. home pot. Let's break soil and get a grow on!

I will give the Orange President autos more time to pop. But there on the clock...

The Papaya Sherbet is up and going. So we have a photo grow going! She is a tiny little gal. But she has a heart. She flipped her seed husk/helmet 3" away. Seeing she's a sativa dominatrix that's not surprising if not a bit refreshing. Her helmet is in the upper right hand corner of the pic. Wife and I had a laugh about it while coughing and sharing the flu. I gave her 10 ml of water, filled up the humidifier. She is in her home 15 gal. pot and set to go.

Day 3 of the Papaya Sherbet. She has stretched a bit even with the good ppfd. Plenty of light. Writing it off to her sativa dominant genetics. Color is good and she is ripping along.

The Orange Presidents in the 2 x 4 failed again. They grew sideways in the dirt until they ripped their own heads off. Tap root went straight down and the head and stem went sideway about 1/4" under the surface of the soil. Both stems were a inch long or so, still green and had even grown 1/4" past the head after the head fell off. I tried to get clean pics. But for some reason my iphone 13 ProMax does not want to take clear pics anymore. I need off this damn struggle bus! So that's one that went straight down and three that have went sideways. Thought soil? But the Papaya Sherbet is doing well. I'm going to contact Fastbuds and entertain there excuse. I put two more Orange President beans right into the soil to see what happens with them. No float, No paper towel. Water is ph 6.6. I did find out the wife had been buying the cheap POS china paper towels at Wal-Mart that I think are treated with bad stuff,,, but I can't prove it. We went through this once before. Could not get seeds to pop or grow right using those cheap paper towels. Switched to a made in USA paper towel and problems went away. So I had to lay the law down again about that. If she keeps deepthroating china we are going to have a big issue. I've had enough of this penny wise and pound foolish crap. So I will see if these two come out of the soil on there own.

Papaya Sherbet day 3.

Ya ever considered starting lil ones in a small container first. Let them get established and then bury them.

It's a little easier to get even moisture to them and warmth before the life in the big pot.

I just haven't been able to pop seeds and get seedlings worth a darn in about 25 years now. It's like everything went to crap in 2000. While I had no issues with Y2K,,,, weed went to crap imho. For clandestine outdoor grows I historically worked ground watered planted seeds, watered and came back in a week to seedling plots. Indoor grows I use to get pete pots from local nurseries back when they made and sold their own. Soaked them in water, put soil in them, watered down soil, planted seed and buried in there home grow pot. Since 2000 photos for the most part, I prepare my grow pots. Take a solo cup put four holes in the bottom of the cup and bury it in the prepared pot and fill with the soil/media used to make the hole the cups buried in. I then float seeds to pop and plant. Float til sink then paper towel them until pop. Or just paper towel them until pop. Or direct dirt plant them. I hate up potting and transplanting. Solo cup in pot is about all I will do anymore. And I won't transplant or up pot autos at all. I have no issues with soil temps or watering seedlings like so many do. I teach noobs to use a 2 oz. syringe to water seedlings. They don't need more than 1 oz. domed or open. Just keep the humidity between 70% to 80%. If I do a photo in a buried solo I transplant at 14 days/two weeks and call it veg. There just isn't any real need to micromanage seedlings if there good genetics.

I'm to the point of shutting down the tents. Since about 2000 the weed imho has been pretty much useless hybrid bunk. And I don't really smoke much of it anymore. I do concentrate it sometimes. I did smoke a couple of bowls yesterday of Gorilla auto I harvested a while back. Bunk weed as far as I'm concerned. My oldest daughter thought it was great! So I gave her a bunch of it. If I have to drastically change what I've been doing every year since 1975. I need to just shut it down and go full pharma. I will adjust with tech. I'm good with that. I'd given a testical to have the lights, tents, controls ready made fans, filters and hardware we have now. But the genetics,,,, SUCK! I've been looking at some of these new fufu genetic seeds compared to some of my older non viable seeds that won't pop anymore and there half the size. We would have tossed little seeds like these little seeds back in the day.

The wife's even got frustrated with her ornamental seed quality. And I got fed up with vegetable seed quality and product and haven't put a garden in for years. I don't even know if the wifes even going to mess with her flowers this year. Normally she would be in her winter prep about now. But all she has done is mess with her African Violets and a few house plants.
