i have recently changed over to coir mulch as an outdoor growing medium, and i am having problems with the plants not rooting.does anybody have any tips on promoting root grwth.

Did you ammend it or just put it in coco?
Coco is very airy IME. if outdoor i would use it as an ammendment unless your willing to water very often.
are you starting the seeds/clones in the soil without getting them established first?

all my plants are started from clones.i fortunately have no need for watering because of my method of growing in swamps.i build 60 litre mounds in ankle deep water and after an initial watering leave it to the swamp.i have had great success with this method using sunshine ix #4 in the past, but i am looking for a more efficient way.that being the coir mulch blocks.
