Hi new kid here,
I've never grown b4 & this would be my 1st time. Unfortunately I can't use the hydroponic system I bought (I was supposed to move into an apartment, but that didn't work out & my dad would definately smell some dank) for my indoor growing aspirations.

So, myself being in a new town (the middle of rural nowhere) & being fed up with copping bud from fake Gs @ gas stations with ditch weed, have come to the conclusion that I want to grow outdoors. Now I've scoped out a few areas that are heavily wooded, but all are within close proximity to small 2 lane highways.

My question is: is it risky to leave ones car near the highway while tending to an MJ plant (found one spot where I can park @ a gas station) & what are some general tips for picking locations?

Ideally I would be able to just grow indoors & avoid these risks, but @ this point it's not an option.

Thanks.

If you are parked legally,it's not a bad idea. However,if it is an area where people live,or do not normally park, someone may notice a pattern.Growing near highways is a risky venture. There are work crews, accidents, police, air traffic, break downs so many variations of scenarios for things to go south. If you are in the middle of nowhere, take up hiking and go elbow deep and find a good location.Scout it now so you can be prepared for the spring.Maybe bring some supplies now so its that less of a burden next spring.Make sure your not to close to streams, rivers and lakes. These water sources are avenues for helicopters this time of year.Don't cut down trees, this is another aerial "sore thumb" that is a giveaway (and it's not cool).Look for indications of camp fires or people hanging out and partying, planters or evidence of previous grows, shotgun shells from hunters, footprints. If you would'nt want to drag a deer out of there it's probably a good spot. But remember, there will be no underbrush in the winter. If you find a place on a slope or mountain, make sure it is north facing,as you will have better sun exposure.Never leave your garbage and don't tell ANYONE...
Stay Cool

:yeahthat: :goodposting: Now is the time to scout buy your hunting lic. you do not have to have a gun just scout. See if other people hunt this area go into the area where there is little human or deer traffic.
