Grow Update

Hello my friends, Update on my "super stealth" grow. It is now day 51 and I have 2 plants left out of the 5 I started on April 10. As you know I discovered the 1st male early on and then 2 more within a week later however, the 2 remaining females were/are doing pretty good considering.... On day 44 a family member ask "was I smoking weed in the basement? I was shocked and speechless. I guess I dont have agood sense of smell lateley but they told me they had been smelling something for over a week. I couldent sleep that night and early the next morning I had to tear down the stealth grow and moved it frantically into the garage. I made some feeble excuses about the smell and I think they are just going to wonder what the mystery smell was and nobody has said anything since.(Whew! that was a close one) Anyway, I thought it was over and I was going to lose the plants and small flowers from shock when I moved them but when I checked
last evening they are still holding on, flowers are getting bigger and althought some fan leaves suffered damage I am going to ride this grow all the way to the end!

A carbon filter will solve the smell problem.

I don't usually smell a thing (MJ wise) in or around my house, people come in and tell me it smells great in here. You get used to the smell and don't notice it, imhe.

Glad you're safe, might think about filtering the exhaust air. :ciao:

Hello Again Friends. It is day 80 and I am leaving town for 4 days.
The forcast is calling for high 90's possibly 100 degrees for three days in a row.
I believe my two plants have done well considering all that they have been through.
Some questions,The garage could retain some heat so;
1. Should I double water the plants, let them stay on the 12/12 cycle and hope
they survive this little heatwave while I am gone?
2. Cut them down, hang them to dry and be happy I got some product out of my first grow?
3.If I let them alone for the 4 days and 3 nights even if they suffer some damage
would it affect the quality of the product?

It depends on how much they are drinking per day, and when you call it day 80, is that day 80 of 12/12?
I'd just soak the heck out of them in water before ya go, cut down a cpl lights if you can.. leave her 12/12 and come back to a dry plant thatll need watered lol.. aslong as it doesn't get super hot, I don't see it being too much a problem leaving for 4 days.

It really doesn't matter how old they are--when you popped the seeds. What matters is how long they have been in 12/12 and how long the strain you are growing takes to mature. So what strain are you growing and how long have they been in 12/12?

I leave my grow for 4 days quite frequently without issue. If you have hot temps, it is better to run your flowering lights at night. I have mine going from 11:30 at night to 11:30 in the morning.

It is day 64 in flower, 80 days from Sprout . It was only 24/7 for 16 days.
Do to circumstances I had to force to 12/12 early. Its amazing that I have had
any success on this grow at all, but it is giving me experience for the next time.
I feel the plants have more to give and should make the 4 days, and hearing your
point of view makes me even more confident. By the way, I dont know what strain
I am growing it was just some seeds saved up over the years but it smells potent.
