Grow Bust

An indoor bust was made yesterday in the city i live in. The growers were renting a large metal warehouse in which they had 200 budding plants alonge with veg stage small plants and larger mothers for taking clones. The were pretending too be a construction company but there was never any materal or trucks coming or going from the site so someone noticed and sen`t the cops a red flag. I think it said it was the second time they had been busted for growing MJ.

I agree. It seems to me that most busts occur because there were too many people involved, or someone noticed "something out of the ordinary".

I knew a guy when I was in high school that got busted for renting a hotel room to grow in. It was one of those sleazy motels, and he paid something like $80/week for it. He had lights and everything set up in there with like, 50 plants. He thought he was gonna be cool and invite a chick up there one day to see them, and BOOM, busted within a week. He's still in prison I think.

Goes to show, you can't be too careful. Even the best cover gets blown if too many people know.

if ANYONE knows. u cant trust your own mother anymore. Even if they dont mean to snitch on you and they just mention it to a friend, it spreads.

LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS. Rule #1 KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Plain and simple trust nobody. Rule #2 DONT BE STUPID ABOUT IT. If your going to use a warehouse and a cover business make sure it looks like a business more than a giant MJ producing company. My town just had a bust not to long ago where a cop smelled MJ from a block away and they ended up gettin 27lbs of cured bud and some 150 plants. Cmon if your going to grow make sure the smell is contained, be smart.
I pretty much keep my smoke for myself for medical reasons I dont have a million people over to come smoke with me. Thats all I need is for neighbors seeing people come and go all the time. I still have a very select few friends that come over and toke with me but not 1 person knows I grow. Id rather be paranoid than busted. But than a pot smoker is busted every 45 seconds in the US no wonder we are paranoid. So stick to those 2 rules and you should be fine. IMO.

I see lots of people saying not to tell people about your grow... However, I never like to go out and tell my "buddies" that I have the best pot around either. Your buddies will wonder where you got it, the little chatter starts up everywhere and before you know it, the police are also wondering who is this "DLtoker" guy with this amazing pot everyone speaks of... Just something to think about.

I grow because I live a humble life and I keep my family and a few friends very close. Growers should be off every radar.

I don't sell or give out. I just say my hook-up is very small scale and won't sell me more than a 1/4 at a time. No one ever sees what I got in my curing jars. I have a lil bagie I keep in my box for company. My curing Jars stay hidden.
