Hello everyone,

This is a very informational site.

I have a question on green house growing. Can it get too hot for the plants? What is a good solid temperature? The temp can get to 120 -130 right now. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

jesus man 120-130 thats hot but no need for a greenhouse with those temps.

marijuana will grow wild in any conditions bar cold conditions so just get planting outdoors dude.

the high 70's are ideal temps but with fresh air and outdoors id give it a go.

:p we dont care how you spell stuff :D

what are the outside temps? does the greenhouse have ventilation?

That's too hot!

The roots will burn and die. I recently just went through a hot spell in my in my greenhouse, 105-106 for about 4 days straight, lost 8 trees! My greenhouse is an open-air greenhouse!

Even with adequate ventilation through the top, it doesnt relieve too much heat down at the root level. The top portion of the plant wont necessarily burn or wilt, but the roots will be the first to go. I have 5 plants in my ICU that were victims of it as well....

Keep those roots cooled down so they dont overheat, this might mean watering 2-3, maybe even 4, times a day.

Good luck! Heat is hell to grow in....very time consuming!
