those things dont use alot of power, how many u got there?

there are 16 of them there, 26w a peice. they are energy saving Compact Flouresents.

you still havent read that link i gave you have you. :D

when you are out buying those 26w ones, pick up a bunch of 10w ones too, why you say? to replace EVERY regular translusecnt bulb you have, WHY? cause if you replace a 100w bulb with a 10w CFL (puts out 40w of light) you just saved yourself paying for 90w, this will help counter your larger grow lights!

yeah only the co2 part im still having trouble finding out exactly how to use fert in a ebb and flow system where do u get those light

walmart, lowes, kmart, target, meijers, and anywhere else that sells bulbs.

ebay you can sometimes find them being sold by the case.

cool man glad i could help. i know walmart has 13w ones in packs of 6 to place around the house.

and if you got the DOUGH they have 150w CFL's that put out 2600 lumens but are about $10 a peice. i bought a two pack of them, broke one taking it out of the package and the other one two days later moving plants...lol.

do i really even need the 600s for flowering or can i get buy with somthing else

im using a flourescent light and heat lamp for my clones in an old fridge humidity is 90 with a humidity dome this works great they r looking real good after only 2 days

depends on how big of an area you have.

2x2=4 sq ft (12000 lumens neeeded)
4x4=16 sq ft (50000 lumens needed)
8x8=64 sq ft (200000 lumens needed)
so on and so forth......

take you total lumens divide that by your sq ft, that how many lumens you have per sq ft. you need 3000-4000 lumens for veg, and 5000-6000 for flower per sq ft.

a 400w HPS lamp puts out 50,000 lumens, that enough lumens to cover a 16 sq ft room for veg, but it would only cover 10 sq ft for flowering.

making any sense yet?

yeah just got back from menards those 26w cfl 6 for $10 and 150s $7 a peice i bought of bunch of both and some 13w didnt have the 10s i had about 20 100w bulbs in my house

20 x 100w = 2000 total watts
20 x 13w = 260 total watts

you just saved 1740 watts of electric ;)

i think i might get rid of my 2 600s and get 2 400s for flowering my grow room is only 7x5 i used white plastic instead of mylar pretty reflective 2 it almost blinds u plants like it though

that might not be enough for that large of a grow area.

7x5 = 35 sq ft.

50,000 x2 = 100,000

100,000 / 35 = 2875 lumens per sq ft.

3000 is needed for veg, 5000-6000 for flower, thats not even enough for veg.

my grow room is 4ft long, 2ft wide, and 7ft tall. the height is not factored in square feet so we dont need that number!
4x2=6
my HPS light is a high output of 53,000 lumens

so 53,000 divided by 6 = 8833 lumens per square ft. :D

with a 7x5 closet its got to be a walk in, mines just barley big enough to hold clothes on the hanger and shut the door. you say your grow room is "only" 7 x 5, thats huge compaired to mine, thats half the size of my whole bedroom!

are you sure your measurements are correct.

no my flower area is 7x5 im making a new veg. area but needed some info first i want this one to be smaller, in my grow room is where i have the ebb and flow system that i do all my flowering in
