Funky leaves

Hi, would anyone happen to know why leaves that grow out of the buds are deformed even though they appear healthy? is it normal for this to happen? they only fan out into 3 or 4 points instead of the normal 5.

genetics, or PH....happens with you pinch off a meristem in the middle of its growth as well as reveging plants

how old are they? theres a possibility that the plants are just immature.......
