Nice, spend that time getting the environment set up in the new tent. Keep things simple and basic and ya should have some nice weed in a few months.

Autos will flower no matter your lighting schedule. Fems will be 99% chance you plant will be female. They were forced to produce female pollen by using colloidal silver or STS spray. a fem auto just means your girl will flower on her own no matter your lighting schedule.

If ya want more yeild go photo. If your okay with smaller plants go auto.

So sorry. I’m not sure. What is meant by “photo” seeds?
Photo period you have to force them into flowering by changing the light schedule. The sun dies it naturally outside. Inside you have to adjust the lighting.

How many days of continuous lighting for the veg stage? And how long for the flowering stage? For indoor growing?
I don’t do continuous, although some do. I will let them answer, that question. What I do is 16/6 about 2 months minimum. You can do less but your plant will be smaller. The longer you veg the bigger the plant gets. My first round will get less this year as I did photos over winter and not autos like I should have. I will get 3-6 ounces per plant instead of 9-12 ounces or more per plant. Round 2 outside will have longer veg time and will be outside until they finish. They will be do much bigger you will see.
I don’t think he is asking about a continuous grow, I think he is asking how long we keep plants in veg, and how long it takes them to finish once flipped.
A plant can be kept in veg as long as you want. I have plants now that have been in veg for around 6 months.
Once flipped, a plant will take 8 to 12 weeks to finish, depending on the strain.

I was just wondering how long for the veg state. I read where some keep it at 24/7 for a few months. And just making sure: Is it 8-12 weeks for flowering?

Veg state can have lights on for 18 hours or more, up to all 24. How long you Stay in vegetative mode depends on a few factors. How big do want the plants? How much room do you have in your grow space? How well and fast are your plants growing?
Indoors, by 8 weeks of veg, you can probably flip to flower and get nice buds. Flowering stage is 7-12 weeks, depending on the strain. You can shorten the veg time and get smaller plants, but maybe more of them. Veg time is limited only by your space. If you go outside, there is no limit. When looking at how much space is available, remember after you flip them, they'll keep getting taller, maybe 50% bigger by the time they're done.
I vegged 3 plants 8 weeks in a 2x4 tent and got 3/4 pound in 16 weeks.
I put four outside, vegged at least 16 weeks and they were all 7-8 feet tall, the biggest yielded 1 1/2 pounds.

For a photo. Veg stage duration dictates the size of the plant you'll get... usually. Runts and poor genetics pop up now n then.
Photos I veg for 6+ wks. Sometimes longer if it's a indica dominant plant. If I have a stretchy sativa I may go with flower at 4-6 wks. That's only if I know the plant will stretch. Usually that would be because I'm using a clone that I know.
I've used 24/7 but not for a long time. A few weeks at most. I'm not totally convinced ya get a faster grow using this. Plants need to recharge in the dark.
It's a long debated subject.
18/6 ya can't go wrong...even 20/4 works well.
I like 20/4 until flip.

I've been using that in my veg tent.
It's also good for Auto's. I treat Autos just like I do photos. Once my Autos show I use 12/12.

Ya mentioned that before. So I changed my veg tent to 20/4 last run for them autos I had in there. They did fine..lil bitches.
