What’s the difference between feminized and auto flower seeds?
Feminized seeds are female, created by spraying chemicals on a female plant which causes her to produce male sex organs.
The pollen produced by the aforementioned male sex organs, is female, therefore producing only female plants.
Regular seeds are both male and female.
Auto plants are regular plants which have been bred to a ruderalis.
A ruderalis is a species of cannabis that doesn’t rely on photoperiodism to produce flower due to the fact that it evolved in a cold climate that had a short growing season, and it has low flower production.
Breeding revolves around the goal of retaining both, the bud production of the modern marijuana varieties, and the non-photoperiodism of the ruderalis.
Autos and photos are both regular plants until someone reverses a female, of either variety, and creates feminized seeds.

I'm not trying to grow male plants. Not trying to breed them.
Should I just go with feminized seeds?

Yes, it sounds like you should go with feminized seed, whether it is auto or photo.
Yes fem seeds will give only female plants. Autos will flower automatically they are smaller generally. Photos you have to make them flower by changing the lighting schedule. If you are not sure. I would go with bootlegseeds.com as they are cheaper than anywhere. I think you get 10 fems now for 25 dollars. They were 5 for 25. Brothers Grimm also have deals on fems 10 fems start at 16.50 and go to 33.00 for their testers and sale Items. Both places are excellent places to get discounted beans that are high quality. If you are just looking for quick turnaround. Autos are the way . You looking for potency or quantity. Photos is the way. You have to decide what you like, need or want. I prefer photos especially outside they get huge. I do like my widow crosses too so I go both ways when it comes to weed. Plus it fits my schedule of 2 photos and one auto round in my long grow season. We hit 80 already usually Feb 14th is the first 80 degree day here. 2 different sites tell you 2 different things.
