im growing 20 plants from seed outdoors they r still in pots and on the edge of a corn field in Ontario. i went back today and found that 7 turned male already and 2 r female and the rest r not showing yet. so my question is y r they flowering so early? i was thinking not enough light?

O yah strains r the purps, monkey pal, kush ,canna sutra. i also had this happening to me indoors under 24hours of light .

They are just showing their sex, not flowering.

Man... its seems like this year i've been hearing a lot about/ experiancing this exact problem. Almost all of my plants budded. I then started a new crop and sure enough... they did too. luckily it was only 3 on the second crop. i can say this much though, it hasnt been as hot as previous years... Something isnt right...

i was talking to a friend today who is a botanist and the only thing we could come up with is that they r stressed out and just started to flower

.."IF" they flowered, and continue to flower(form flower clusters) under 24/0 they contain some autoflowering genetics.
"IF" they were taken from under 24/0 and placed outdoors under a shorter light regime, that can induce early flowering.

i think it might b the shock/stress from taking inside to out and yes they were on 24 hour light inside. thanks man never thought of that, ill put up pics next time i go out to see them porb this weekend

Same problem, except i have been growing them outdoors from the start. Now...2 months into their vegetative stage...3 males have shown and 4 females. This is early though right? Light has not started decreasing yet. My plants are 4-5 feet tall and well developped. Do you think this early showing of sex will affect the buds?
