So I decided to get a head start this year and planted my first girl outside sometime in february. It got down to 30 degrees a couple times but there was no damage done. It won't get that cold again till december so I have a loong growing season.
Since I started off so early the days are shorter than they usually would be and my plant decided to go into flower.
I've been LSTing it and its got about 10 main 'heads' that all have a little bit of bud. I havent fimmed or topped it yet because i heard doing so while flowering is very bad(even though im not purposely trying to flower for another 7 months..). My question is, as spring progresses and it eventually goes back into veg, will I be able to pluck off the little nugs that are growing or will this hurt the plant somehow and make the ultimate yield less than it would be if I didn't pick off the buds?
