ok,...first the ventilation...i cut a 5" hole in the wall and then i took a peanut can and cut the bottom out. i then glued the can to the a-c duct in the wall which i also cut a hole in
 
ok first problem would be cutting a hole in the wall. im renting an apartment and i dont think they would be to happy if i did that but go on...
 
now to the lights.. the lights i'm using consists of 6 48" 40watt t12's and 6 ott-lights($10 grow bulb at homedepot)alternating bulbs every other 1 and off-set 6" for slightly more coverage. also all stuff from homedepot
 
well,.... you prolly don't want to grow in an APT. because they smell really strong before it's all over but i'll continue
 
yes, but it did'nt cost much($200 absolute max) and it works very very well:D the white stuff on the soil is just a thin layer of perlite i actually did yesterday to reflect light back to the branches under the canopy
