I have two 20 watt, 2' floro tubes running vertically on my wall and a third light, 100 watt grow light for my plants and a fan for vent. My question, instead of placing the floro’s right above the plant horizontally, is it okay to have them running up the wall vertically? I have included an aerial pic of what I mean. All light accounted for I think I have just over 5000 Lumens for one 5 gallon soil pot. Also, can anyone give me an accurate lumen measurement for a 100 watt Exo-Terra sun glo heat lamp?

If that's the only way they'll fit, then I guess you don't have a choice.

It should be alright. Just remember that plants are phototropic, so they'll grow towards the bulb.. also, having light hit the bottom of the leaves will encourage more growth between nodes (taller plant).
