i cut clones and put them directly into 12/12 lighting---in past it takes up to 14 days for roots to appear thru the rockwool cubes while vegging 24/7---i have never had to sex clones and am wondering---since the cuts are concentrating on rooting on 12/12---approx how much longer might it take for sex to show---some had alternating nodes and some didn't:icon_smile:

First, you posted in the advanced breeding section, so unless ppl are reading advanced breeding they won't even see your post. And if you ARE an advanced breeder ,you should already know how long it will take. I'm not being smart*** about it, just makes sense.
Anyhow ,if you took fresh clones and put them right into 12/12 , and they are alive, they are prolly o.k. ( i would have waited till they had roots) But whatever, too many things come into play like humidity andd lighting for anyone to answer your questions unless we knew alot more about your set-up and grow style. See? Thats' all just my opinion though too ,grain o salt.

well---you got a point in the "advanced breeding section"---but---some do click on the "new posts" to see what is currently being discussed---anyway---if you might suggest somewhere else to post this threads---i am all ears---just trying to get some answers---i am not an advanced breeder and am just trying some uncharted waters---thought someone might have some experience throwing "un-sexed" clones directly into 12/12---guess it would have been more appropriate in the propogation section

Should show if sexually mature...Would show faster I think if rooted under 12/12...why was the clones taken befor sex known

clones were taken before sexing because i was planning on keeping a couple moms to start a perpetual harvest---the cuts are all numbered to correspond to each doner plant in the veg room---when the cut sexes---the boys will be cullled from their doner parents in the the veg room---leaves only females vegging from seed with a little elbow room---no light inturruptions---no stress---no re-vegging

:ciao: rosebud---done messing with the cuts and waiting for them to sex---into the compost they go---getting too crowded in the veg room and need to cull the boys---just put it into 12/12---little experiment didn't go as planned---maybe next time---back on track soon enough---:icon_smile:
