Hey all. Finally found the cord for my camera so i can get pics of my room up. Its no where near finished but I have a good start on it. I have a 6' x 10' room funished with a 1000W HPS light ,a reflective coated bubble wrap (only thing available) on the walls, 300 CFM exhaust and 500 CFM intake fans. About the only problem i have had so far is temp getting to high due to the furnace being right next door. Unfortunatly I am down to 20 plants due to 10 males. hope you all enjoy the pics.

hey i think i got the pics workin this time hopefully.

Nice looking plants! looks like you have had a wonderful start. looking forward for updates!

temps can get a lil higher than the norm if you supplement with some CO2...it'd be more work/expense, but just a thought

Hey Rem. I think you have your fans backwards you need more air going out than com'n in to creat a neg. presure. If I'm wrong someone str8'n me out but that is what I have read many places and the way my set up is going to be aswell. Good work Rem looks good ths far!!!

Not "near" enough light...
a 1k is sufficient for about 20 sq/ft. You're looking at 60 sq/ft.
Shoot for a "minimum" of 3,000 lumen per sq ft.

I would definitely try to get more light in there if possible.. way too much space and too little light.. other than that, things are looking fine.. Welcome to the site and I hope to see you around the forums. Take care and be safe.

This is correct. If you are using a carbon scrubber on your exhaust to get rid of the smell, it is not going to work. (EDIT: The scrubber will work, but ther ewill still be odor in the house) This is because you are pushing more air into your grow space than you are exhausting and the extra air must leak out other places. The other comments about not enough light are also correct. You can certainly fit 10 or even 20 under that light, but the dimensions of the grow space are such that you will not be able to utilize the whole area with plants. You want to grow in an area about half the size you have or double your light. Right now you are getting a little less than 2,500 lumens per square foot and you want about 5,000 per square foot ideally. These couple things aside your setup looks very well done and professional, nice work!
